Maintenance updates for OpenCart 1.5.1.3

The OpenCart crew does like to change things, always creating work for all the OpenCart theme and module developers. So here’s our part of the burden: Default-Black, Bloody-Black and CR2 Shine have been updated to support the latest OpenCart release (so please also update the theme when you’re updating your store installation). CR2 Toolshed theme will be updated in the next days, as the new updated will also include new administration features. The module system suffered no changes with the latest release, so our modules bla bla bla… There’s more

CR2 HTML Module and Default-Black Updates

CR2 HTML Module has been updated today to version 1.5a. The new features include: a new “bordereless” setting – the ability to completely turn off OpenCart’s default module HTML wrapping, so the module will suit images and custom layout boxes perfectly. support for separate user-defined classnames for each position where the module is displayed, with which the modules can be freely styled using CSS These two features will also be back-ported to HTML Module Tripack for OpenCart 1.4 in a day or two.   Also, bla bla bla… There’s more

General themes update for OpenCart 1.4.9.5

While waiting for the final release of OpenCart v1.5, all our OpenCart themes have been updated today adding support for the latest 1.4 branch update, v1.4.9.5 Since the latest OpenCart adds a new variable in the code (one that would not be set when using previous versions), to avoid any kind of warning messages, we recommend using the latest themes release only for v1.4.9.5, while sticking with the previous themes releases for any older versions of OpenCart.

Default-Black and Weed themes updated

Today brings updates for our free OpenCart themes – Default-Black and Weed. Default-Black update features a fix concerning the search box and a slightly redesigned footer background. Weed update comes with an improved menu/submenu design, a new footer (that better fits the theme in case the theme background imagesis changed) and several other minor improvements. Users are advised to update to the latest versions.

A new release – Default-Black

We are glad to release a new free OpenCart theme. Actually not that new, since it is based on the ‘default’ theme, but we hope it will shed some new light (or actually darkness) to OpenCart’s looks. ‘Default-Black’ features a nicer product image preview using the Fancybox jQuery library and features a different product page layout (the extra product images are placed right under the main image). Demo: http://oc.cryoutcreations.eu/default-black/ The theme can be downloaded from OpenCart’s Themes Directory.
